3rd Year of Partnership with the Police Athletic League working with NYC's Youth

Thanks to the Police Athletic League (PAL) Annual Poetry Jam that awarded thirty children from all five boroughs with their annual poetry award. This is the 3rd year I, along with Manny Maniya, had the opportunity to work with the young poets on their performance. The PAL Centers borough to borough provide the space and encouragement from caring staffpersons to inspire some of the most brilliant poetry I have seen by young people.

Royal Basketball Academy Participates in "Green-Up"

My youth organization Royal Basketball Academy participated in Farmer's Blvd. Community Development Corporation, "Green-Up" Community Clean-Up Event. We cleaned trash along Farmers Blvd. and met local elected officials NY State Senator Malcolm Smith and Councilmember Leroy Comrie.
