The People’s Inauguration

On January 20, 2010, the one-year anniversary of Barack Obama’s inauguration, MVMT produced an event to commemorate this historic occasion and to celebrate the release of From Auction Block to Oval Office: 100 Poems in 100 Days of Obama's Presidency. The event was Poetry & Dialogue, featuring readings from the book with responses from four dynamic panelists. The sold-out event was held at the state-of-the-art Jerome L. Greene Performance Space and streamed live online at MVMT.com to more than 150 viewers.
